The Kask Type 2 Full Brim Helmet provides a combination of superior fit and a flexible brim which provides sun and rain protection as well as enhanced protection should a fall occur. The flexible brim protects your neck in a fall while protecting your head as the standard Kask Zenith X2 helmet does.

ADAPTIVE BRIM™ TECHNOLOGY

A proprietary method of seamlessly integrating a flexible and durable material to KASK helmets that addresses the potential safety hazards inherent with rigid brims. The material is resistant to heat, cold, and UV exposure while reducing the likelihood of neck strain in a fall and maintaining helmet stability in dynamic environments while enabling full compatibility with hearing protection.

Lightweight external shell with exponential better performance. Excels in impact absorption, especially at lower temperatures (-30°C). Resists yellowing and degradation.

Durable, internal shell component composed of high-density Neopor® Ccycled® EPS that provides stronger side impact absorption and inner core protection.

D-CORE TECHNOLOGY

Internal shell component designed with a low-density Neopor® Ccycled® EPS inner core optimized for top impact protection.

ADAPTIVE FIT SYSTEM

Size adjustment system that adapts to head shapes to create a personalized, secure fit. Adjusting the double diameter dial allows the ergonomic side wings to cradle the back of the neck while the selfadjusting hinge moves up and down to keep the system in a comfortable and secure position that moves as the wearer moves.

ELECTRIC SHOCK PROTECTION

Closed external shell protects against electrical hazards. Class E rated for work in electrical environments up to 20,000 volts.

CLICK-IN SYSTEM

Enhanced padding attachment system that quickly secures into place and allows easy replacement and removal. Patented system improves padding durability.

DRY+ LINER

Multi-layered fabric integrated with Hydrocool® moisture-wicking technology and exceptionally soft textiles for enhanced user comfort. Infused with a deodorizing silver ion treatment.

NOTE The Adaptive Brim™ is made of thermoplastic material and may show slight undulations or variations in flatness as a result of mechanical stress, prolonged support or suboptimal conditions of use/storage. These variations are to be considered physiological and do not compromise the safety performance, regulatory compliance or functionality of the helmet in any way. It is recommended to avoid prolonged contact with uneven surfaces and to store the product according to the instructions provided in this information note.

GUARANTEE 3 years starting from the date of purchase.

LIFE SPAN 10 years starting from the date of manufacture. The helmet must be checked regularly and before each use to detect the presence of any damage such as cracks, detachments, deformities, or peeling that represent factual elements of the state of deterioration of the helmet. Helmets that have suffered a severe impact shall be replaced even if they do not show obvious signs of damage.

CLEANING Clean the helmet with the KASK Helmet cleaner or with water, neutral pH soap and a soft, clean cloth. The inner lining should be washed by hand in cold water or in the washing machine (max 30°C – 85°F). The KASK Liner Refresher is available to neutralise unpleasant odours.

STORAGE The helmet should be stored away from direct sunlight or source of heat. We recommend the use of the KASK drawstring helmet bag to protect the helmet when not in use.

ADHESIVE APPLICATION Do not apply adhesives, stickers or use paint and solvents on the helmet that do not comply with the manufacturer’s specifications. Any alteration or intervention may impair its protective function.
